The LAST MEMORY OF HOME

A typical Sunday evening transitioned into one that 21 year old Faarooq Mu’min Mansour, then Andrew D. Lee, would never forget. On March 24th, 2002, he and his family were surrounded by three dozen police officers and SWAT agencies outside his home in Columbus, Ohio.

Faarooq saw their warrant for his arrest, and without knowing the victim nor the incidents mentioned in the warrant, Faarooq took it as a mistaken identity.

Following the advice of his father, he allowed himself to be willingly handcuffed and taken in for questioning. Unbeknownst to him, as well as his parents, he would never return home.
